Team Leader for Woking
- We are currently seeking people who are passionate about childcare to join our team of staff as a Team Leader. Our staff are essential to the smooth running of our nurseries and are valued members of the team; you will build relationships with children and parents and be involved fully in nursery life.

- Toad Hall Nursery was established in 1998. Our beautiful, purpose built 109 place nursery in Woking is close to bus routes and the train station is just over 2 miles away. There is a local supermarket and a coffee house which are a 10 minute walk from the nursery. This spacious setting is located next to Goldsworth Park and lake where you can take a stroll during your lunch break. There is free parking outside the nursery. Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
- Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
- Being involved in the recruitment of staff, including but not limited to, shortlisting, interviewing and observing safer recruitment practices.
- Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
- Fulfilling the role of key person to an exemplary standard, providing a positive role model for team members.

Your qualifications and experience:
- Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
- To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
- A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
